Patek is a brand we come toward on the long run
but when you discover it (and study it a little more), your often discover how wonderful and subtle these pieces are.
The Nautilus, thought very different from the rest of the collection, is certainly as extraordinary, especially when we observe the dial coating and the movement's decoration in that segment which make it the most interesting one IMHO.
Congratulations for this purchase, it is an excellent choice.

My first Patek..
After years of becoming an AP-holic.. I decided to shift to something iconic and classy. Found this bleuty by accident, 2008 piece with no scratches at all.. Previous owner had soo many watches that this bleuty was always kept in the vault! Happy as a kid...

It's a very good chrono. Better looking than the other brands. It's also a chic and sexy watch. Best Geross.

The best thing for watches is to read about things to pay attention to but mostly to go and the the watches by yourself in the details. You'll be able to compare and to see what you like an dwhat you don't and hence make your own opinion Enjoy the journey...
