Patek Philippe reference 5160/500R Watches and Wonders 2024 part 4
Replacing the existing white gold reference 5160 is the new version in rose gold. Inspired by a vintage pocket watch from the museum, the 5160 is entirely hand engraved including the silvery opaline dial.
The case has a diameter of 38mm and thickness of 11.8mm, water resistance to 30mm.

The craftsmanship on this watch is out of control.
The details of the case are incredible. The movement finishes, the breguet numerals, the retrograde calendar, officer’s caseback …. I can go on. And just think that it’s similar price point as a ceramic AP perpetual. 🤯🤯🤯
I tried on the older reference a few years back...
...and while I appreciate the effort, it was just too baroque for me...I felt like it was designed for a 19th century railroad magnate and would work better as a pocket watch...
