please let me add a picture that explains the patents
in order of the patents that you have used the technical novelties are to find in the:
white box ...synchronisation between clutch lever and blocking lever ( what is most astonishing of this solution is that nobody had the idea before as it is such a "simple solution" ... lucky for Patek to get a patent on it 
!)
yellow box ... eccentric column wheel cap
red box ... self setting return to zero hammers ( like the "white box" another yet so simple but genius solution from Patek! )
black box ... optimized tooth profile ( you can say Patek brought matter to a head here. I feel the tooth profile is too thin and worry of less durability but Patek should not build something less durable, I am sure of.)
the blue box ... pierced minute counter cam that is much finer and uses less force and friction to make the minute jump.
I hope Fx does not mind that I have used one of his picture to illustrate the new patents.

I love my 5970P more I do feel given the small numbers (I\'m guessing) the 5270 with the so called "chin" will become collectible - particularly if numbers of the 5270 remain small overall...it\'s just the sort of thing to pull a surprise at an auction on...

Update: went with the rose gold afterall.
I think the blue dial is a bit faddish for a watch of this complexity. The white gold dial doesn't have the contrast of the rose dial to me.
