you can´t imagine how many I had because of this watch. First when it was introduced in 1989 ... non was available for me ... hunting a G version for several years ... non was available for me ... only two or three years ago a few G pieces have been avail...  

For me the most elegant Patek in the current collection is the 5153G. From photos, it looks quite ordinary but when you see it in reality, you will be able to appreciate the guilloche dial and the perfect case size. I totally agree that the 3960 is a very... 

elegance for me is through the subtle appearance of the watch. The more you look at it the more beautiful and appealing it becomes. You do not get tired of it. That is always my goal in buying a dress watch and of course a Patek dress watch. Enjoy it well...

I think that applied Breguet numerals look nicer though (like in the 3842P). For me the most elegant PP is the 5120G -- the sparkling bezel, simple time only, with the lovely 240 movement seen through the back. Ultimate elegance!

Well, it looks like a converted pocket watch ( in a good way) and also uses a lot of ancient Breguet styling features. Didnt Breguet have a model which also utilized a white dial and painted-on Italic numbers? 5140 Classique?
