PP cubitus
I had the good fortune and opportunity to triy on the gold and steel blue dial cubitius today at my AD. I was skeptical of its size from the various pictures seen recently as I have a small wrist and thought it would be outsized for me. Pleasantly surprised at how confortable it was on and amazes at how thin is was. Absolutely gorgeous watch front and back. I am not ready to plunk down 61K but I do think it is a forward move for PP and in time it will become accepted. Just my thoughts.

you had a chance to try Cubitus in the metal. In Hong Kong, ADs tend to have one Cubitus each for display & to enable customers to try on. Was the 1AR available for your purchase it you had wanted it ? Hope you get to try the green and P before deciding.

The watch was in a single glass case with a reserved sign under it and the only one in the shop. Hopefully more will be forecoming. Thanks for your kind response.

Today I was watching a video of the concert in homage to George Harrison at Royal Albert Hall in 2002. Eric Clapton was wearing a Patek chronograph on a black strap. Once I noticed the watch on his wrist that’s all I could see for the rest of the concert....
You make some good points.
I’m with you on a lot of points. Clapton has s bunch of super elegant PP’s (if he hasn’t sold them at auctions).
It lacks everything that made Patek to be The Patek
It looks even worse in the metal, than in pictures. When placed next to other Patek models, it just become obvious - no elegance, no character, no esthetics, nor there is any complexity. The watch is huge. The bezel is thick and totally unimpressive. Ther...
