So, my latest update on this...
I tried several watches today...
The 5134 is not for me. I LOVED the dial of the older 5134G but the watch is too small for my wrist and I could not differentiate between the two different hour hands or even the minute hand. Also the lack of date was a miss imo.
Tried a 5110G and loved it. But I will hold off for a 5110P (or 5130P as I also tried a 5130G). I can see a WorldTime in my life at some point but it does not fulfill the Travel Time objective I am looking for today. Let us also see what Basel brings. But 5110 or 5130 what a stunning watch just not for me at the moment. 5110 seems a relative bargain.
Tried a 5164, not for me, not an Aquanaut guy.
Tried a Lange Timezone in both WG and Pt. Impressed by this but is like a cross between a Travel Time and World Time. There are other Langes I prefer.
So I ended up ordering a Travel Time, but not a PP (or a Lange). I am very excited and will reveal all in due course (delivery early March).

Patek 5134 Travel Time
I am drawing my attentions next to a 'useful' complication such as a Travel Time or Dual Time. I find that the Patek 5134 ticks a lot of boxes for me, but only the earlier version in WG with the applied Breguet numerals. Trouble is I cannot find much info...

And this is my old 5134G. I bought my 5134P in the original unopened packing (double sealed) with "open" papers. So those are available because I bought my watch some 13 years after it was originally sold. So people say that the movement is too small... N...

I must admit I do prefer the G to the P, Need to try one on the wrist but I think I may well 'go for it', they seeem incredibly good value for something so elegant and functional.
I love the Breguet numbers
of the older model while the two-tone dial of the newer platinum is really nice in metal. It also makes a nice pair with 5196P Best, Kari ...
Pros and Cons vs 5110?
Thanks both. I have noted the price of the 5110 is not far from the 5134 and I think you may both be uniquely positioned to compare the two pros and cons. I am also considering the Lange 1 Timezone

i am lucky I have a dealer near me who currently has both in stock so I can try them side by side. I cannot get there until mid February though.

The JLC seemed to sit a little flat on my wrist, stunning though
the watch I chose was both the most comfortable and easiest to read (for me). This will be a working watch, pure simple Travel Time
This is a very good thing to try as many watches as you can

So after my day of trying various watches early in Feburary it is time to reveal my eventual choice. As you know already, it is not a PP, Lange or JLC. This watch of all I tried was both the most comfortable on the wrist and the easiest to read at a glanc...
