Patek Philippe

A new reference which doesn't only highlight the new dial, but also and mostly a new case size: 41 mm instead of 39, 5 mm. For a height which had been slightly reduced ( 12, 75 mm versus 12, 86 mm ). And now, the case is in steel! The other big change is ...  

The choice with this prices between blue and salmon is not easy.

I initially thought the dial was gold, but the website says it is opaline…which is a new material to me.

i saw the 5235R I thought thats the one to get when possible but now seeing this 5935 its a strong contender too 🤔. Need to see it in person when possible

I like this new one too, and i m eager to see them next week . BTW any guess what part of the dial has seen its proportions increase because we can hardly see any difference between the various dials

But would have been ok with me if it would still be 39mm… Best Tempus

First patek I actually want to see if I can get. I assume no pp history so maybe in 5 years I'll be allowed 🤣

Not only it looks out of place, it also makes it obvious that the movement is too small for the case. The new steel model makes it even more pronounced ... Otherwise I like the case, the color of the new dial. PP could have made something much nicer by ha... 

The steel case is a real (pleasant) surprise though 🤩

And really dislike the 5935. I just don't like the proportions of this timepiece! The sub seconds looks small and cramped. There are at least four rings circling a rather small dial in the middle; the proportions just look really bad. Give me the 5110 or ... 

But, despite this reserve, I quite like it... Best, mon ami. Nicolas

Somehow in my mind, this combination just doesn't work out. It's like Patek Philippe went to a customer study and determined, "our customers like our WorldTime and our customers like our Chronograph; why don't we make a combination of the two to gain even...

PP just goes from strength to strength! They always seem find that balance between grandstanding and humble practicality. Just impressed!

For me personally the dial lay-out does not work ....but of course beautifully done.

I love the brand, but at the same time, I feel like today's Patek is not yesterday's Patek - and I care significantly less for today's Patek and the direction it is going. For a second, let's leave behind the difficulty of getting one - I have less of a p...

Very nice on the wrist but, and a massive but, under the lights of the showroom, it was impossible to read anything on the dial... So, if any one above 40 is considering this piece, just try it on before under some light conditions it might be tricky to r...
