so I have a theory that they have to be in ss or titanium. I will call rolexes real sport watches or the RM that Nadal wears when he is playing tennis. I have a friend who just got a new AP ROO and wears it to play tennis thinking that he is right handed, the watch should be able to withstand the brutal treatment. However he is wrong, and he is lucky as the watch is still under warranty.
So, authentic sport watches should be digital light weight plastic watches (non-mechanical). The next level up if you really want mechanical, you can choose something like Rolexes, I play tennis with it often, they all survive the tests. Anything else with a more delicate movement will not be classified as a real sport watch, they are sporty look watches, or sport chics. At this level, ss or precious metal, does not really matter. 5167R is pretty, it goes well with the tropical strap, so why not? You just have to refrain yourself from tennis or golf with this watch on, swimming and a bit of running is OK I suppose. Just MHO.
