All,
Also after seeing JC's recent post on the 5078G and the enamel dial, I had two thoughts-
1) Wow, that is beautiful
2) Patek will probably not use enamel on a lower piece such as the 5320 and they have intentionally used lacquer here
It would make sense for Patek to come out with different metals on the 5320 as it does with many other references but this watch seems to be a recreation of many parts of its past - I have a hard time seeing it in a different dial color ie (Rose Gold with Black Dial). I wanted to know what everyone else thought.
The 5327, 5940, 5059 are all beautiful watches but the 5320 is the one that drew me into PC because of its more modern look and having owned several annual calendars, I guess I am used to this look.
Yes, finding the perfect watch is impossible but learning to love the imperfections is what makes all of this special.
My main concern here was if there is a chance that a platinum 5320 may be released, it might be worth the wait.
I wouldn't want to get the 5320g and regret if they made a 5320p with a special dial.

I think waiting for an exact and perfect combination might be futile. Given your choices, I think it's wise to thing about the practical short comings of a manual perpetual chronograph. Miss one day of winding and you have work to do.. PC + (split) chrono...

...an eternal classic... Or the 5940...I LOVE...the case shape. You can't go wrong with either. The point being, both are thin and elegant. I happen to have a preference for yellow gold (it goes with my swarthy complexion) : )...and it is classic and will...
