One question regarding the 2 sub-dials of 5950A: Why are they both up to 60? my 2 favorite: 5170 even if in yellow gold as the 2 colors for hands are beautifull and 5950A as retro in design. Any idea of official prices for these pieces? Best regards, Patr...

The 5170 is my favorite, closely followed by the 5950. 39mm is perfect for me. My wish has come true!

Sorry to be so negative. So far I have not seen anything that has got my heart racing or my credit card & wife panicking. But, it's early days yet.

of these "pictures" the 5170 does indeed look to be the most beautiful. The DNA of the 5070, however, is very easy to discern. If i had no Pateks at all, I would be very tempted by the 5170. Such a watch needs to be seen and felt though before one can be ...

when I took the PAM312 back to the AD and I see that PPs are not easy to come by! Lead time on the white gold 5712 is July, the SS 5712 is end of 2010. The 5980 - when they are made. Simon

pinpoint what's wrong with 5170. It looks like a modern piece trying to be a vintage. Is it the text or something....am I the only one feeling it? It is so close to perfection but yet it just fall flat for me. Dial wise, I will pick 5070 any day. I truly ...

Sounds that many innovations. But I still prefer the good old days...5070/5004/old dial 5960P...etc JMHO... Anyway, 5950A is eye-catching. How would you compare it with the 5959P? Finally, could you be kind enough to post other special models like the 533...

is a very nice watch but I prefer the 5070 the 5070 is much more balanced and the dial and case are also nicer ... the 5070 will remain my most favorite chronograph eve rmade About the size , 39 mm .... damn that's a pity I won't say all the watches need ...

for a great report.... the most interesting to seems the ss 5950.... is the retail price announced yet? (although from your report I fear that I should not ask) cheers

the 5959 is around 280 K euro (if I remember correct) so I'm afraid this 5950 which has the same movement will be in the same range. Steel might be a bit cheaper than platinum but even if it would be 20K less, it still won't be affordable for 99% of us.

I like the blue dial on the 5960. Never really cared for the slate/ruthenium dial. Happy to see PP bringing back the cushion shape especially in the 5950. Would love to see them in the metal. Aloha, Bob

Beautiful watch, with a great 1940's look. Great size, pulsation dial is ultra cool. Love the two different colored counter hands and calatrava style case. I personally would have prefered the use elegant leaf hands vs. straight sword, but it's still a ve...

Sorry to say - I think no one for me :-(      even if I had the matching size of wallet! The new movement is very beautiful but the case is boring and the dial looks cheap compared to the 5070 - looks like a fake as somebody already has poi... 

I am very interested to see the new 5980/1A on this charcoal/black dial. Any idea when would this be available? I hope that it isn't too long as it is just a change of dial. I only hope that the bracelet for it is a little thicker, as it looked somewhat t...

It normally spells days and weeks of wanting and fantasizing over one of Pateks new offerings..... But not this year.... Whilst I like what has been released I will not be rushing to my AD.... The new chrono is nice but just not for me.....The movement ho...

i am NOT in love with the 5170, which is actually GREAT news. every patek that i own take me a long time to fall in love with, and as such i stay in love with them for a long long time. dun kbow why, watches that takes my breath away i then to bore of the...
