Chrono PC is the pinnacle imho and PP is excellent in this exercise

I agree with you Mike but only to a certain extent. I have owned PCC before from multiple manufacturers, Patek included. Although I am a huge chronograph fan, I prefer the chrono function by itself, UNLESS it is quirky and artful like early RD pieces...

Very true and I agree Mike. Some don't like the thickness and looks of a Lange case but not me. I look at the overall package and in my opinion there is nothing better technically than the Double Split besides maybe the Triple Split...

Many collectors say that the 5270 doesn’t meet the traditional PP standards. But imho it’s a big advantage of PP to always move on and create new designs

I see and agree with the points you made, me being one of those who prefer the 5970 series. I will say the 5270 is surprised me so far so who knows, tastes can evolve but that does not mean that a 5970 will eventually makes it's way into my collection 🤪

Congratulations. Just as ♯5140 has some advantages that ♯3940 doesn't have, ♯5270 has a different appeal & charm than ♯5970.

great watch...the 5270 first series is my favorite, have always loved this over the 5970....yeah yeah I know, but damn do I love this first series 5270:-)...I tried it on the wrist a couple of years back, and it is one of the few watches

I hear you and do agree that it does fit surprisingly well. Even better than I remembered but that is helped by getting the correct strap size for the deployant buckle 😉👍
