I hope that as many collectors as possible would understand that the place of even the finest watch is on the wrist. And that a Manufacturer like Patek can keep the watch in perfect shape if the watch is taken for regular services. Even some relatively big damages can be fixed meaning that wearing a watch does not decrease its value. Neglecting the watch does...

Yellow gold is not my #1 choice but this watch is so incredibly classic that YG fits well to that. However, if the coming WG looks much better, I can always trade to that or to do like a top executive of Patek advised me in a cocktail party: "Collect 5170...

I had just two mugs just before Xmas many years ago. Next day I was supposed to drive to Zell am See but I had to stay the whole day in the bottom of my bed waiting for death. This kind of experience helped me to shift to non-alcoholic beer. Best, Kari

I also ordered some made-to-measure straps from Patek in order to wear the watch in the most comfortable way. After one year of wearing, the watch will have the needed scratches and the strap will be nice and soft. Best, Kari
