I will concur with you in that once you actually see specific references, a totally different feeling emerges. I have seen the 5131P on image quite a few times, but nothing prepares for seeing it in the flesh. It has a vibrancy and appeal which is extraordinary. In the flesh, it is quite stunning. Similarly, the 5650G is one that has something quite special in the flesh. Like you, I would also say that this was my favourite reference from 2017.
I have to say, just for personal taste, I am still not a fan of the diamonds in the 5170P, however, having said that, in the flesh it is really a stunning watch and one that is very elegant. Its still not for me, but i can see why many love it.

5131P really gives me sleepless nights. It's absolutely breathtaking. I used to dislike this bracelet but on 5131P it really looks awesome. Without the bracelet, the watch would loose a lot of its special appearance and presence. Best, Volker
