If I decide not to take the 5100R, then we are competing on the same market place for a 5100G.
My problem is that even the watch is very nice, I have big difficulties to imagine a relative big piece of red gold on my wrist.
We were just last Saturday having a good lunch with my wife in a great seafood restaurant in Helsinki. On our left side was a couple eating quietly. Darja looked at them and the man was wearing some huge red gold watch. Darja whispered to me: "Russians".
Indeed they were and the man was wearing as much as I could understand a Hublot. In Finland or in Estonia we like to wear non-Russian looking watches. However, I understand that red gold is fashionable in all continents but for some reasons the white metal or in some cases yellow gold is more like our thing.

5100 G, once again, would be my first choice.
And my only one, since you got this very nice PC from G.O... But if you want " à tout prix " a QP friom PP, then the 5140 in platinum, with its blue dial, would be my favourite. ... If you really feel the need for another QP.... Best, Nicolas

You don't have any kind of idea how often I have examined this watch. I love it! But the dial is a bit messy and I need time to decide if I am getting bored with the dial or not. However, I am prepared to own one day 3940(X) and 5140P. What comes to 5100G...
So forget the 3940, it is, IMO, less legible than the 5140.
