The 5980 is the Nautilus that never compromised.
That mono counter at 6 o'clock is what makes it. Sure, it's not as instantly legible as a twin register layout, but that's not the point. It's elegant. It keeps the dial balanced and preserves that Genta spirit. Form and function in perfect tension.
This is the Nautilus for people who actually wear their watches.

I prefer this black dial...
although blue would be more fitting to the Nautilus. But why not go for the 5960P instead with the added Annual Calendar function and in PT for about half the price?
