Patek Philippe

There are two different subjects Fricks

My answer was concerning your previous statement about the price level. Hence, the first part of your last answer.

I just wanted to say that if we took the 2005-2009 5070's prices and tried to tell what this price represent today (actualization but also rise of prices in this specific market), then the price of the limited edition is quite coherent.

Concerning the tools, I think it was quite time consuming to setup them for 5 watches only (and this, for each references) and getting the machines, paterns back to create those pieces (even if everything was already designed of course). It costs a little more than 5170's cost per unit (even if they already have the know-how of course).

I think the second part of your answer is really what is bothering you (and I understand it totally): should or shouldn't have they done this?

As I replied to Nicolas, I would also like to know what is the intention behind it.

Of course, as Kari said, we don't have to purchase them if we don't want to. I think they are really fantastic watches. But what is the aim and the message? I don't know right now.

Cheers, Mark
