Thinking about my first Patek
I've got about 10 watches ranging from my first diving watch (Omega SMP) to the watch I bought with my first bonus (Rolex), to my JLC Reverso Duo and my latest, a Vacheron Patrimony Contemporaine dress watch.
The Vacheron and the JLC act as my dress watches, but I don't wear them too often and I probably don't need or want another pure dress watch. As such, given my lifestyle, I'm looking for a sportier watch to add to my collection from Patek. The 5711 and 5712 are the two obvious ones. I know some don't like them, but the rose gold with brown face/strap version of either really catches my eye and is the first modern day Patek that really works for me and is within the desired budget. Also, I live in Canada and with the currency the way it is I will likely buy in the US (so any AD's who specialize in the nautilus you'd care to recommend would certainly be appreciated by PM).
Any thoughts or advice would be very much appreciated. I hope you can tolerate my newbie question and provide me with feedback that could be helpful in my decision making. I'm in no rush, it's probably something I'll order late this year and expect to wait a year to get.

I think it's beautiful, and I like tonneau shaped watches. It's dressier than I'd like, but I think it's funky enough to dress down. I'd rather not get a platinum piece, so may wait to see if they do it in Rose Gold paired up with a deep brown strap for a...
