It needs a whopping 25-30% when it should change from the 30th to the 1rst of a month as an annual calendar only.
Make sure that the watch is sufficiently wound (watch winder over night).

It is a vertical clutch chrono, very little power seepage to the Chrono.
You can keep the chronograph running at all times if you chose to.
