Many thanks for your input, also from a designer perspective, if I recall correctly. What's sure is that this new Calatrava trio has (expectedly) provoked very strong -- and far from unanimous -- reactions among collectors, so far...

And now my friends the first Rare Handcraft press release! I'll have more later, but I want to publish this immediately as it's totally new -- they include some incredible entries in the new 5189G reference, the 5089G, and also some MRs! Enjoy! :-)

I think it will be my favorite, all brands included, this year. I will see that tomorrow, but the chances are big.

I've mainly been interested in Patek but also Rolex this year, including the new Ti YM and also the 'playful OP' (I might ask for the 41mm for me and the 36 for my GF, who loves it, but given my status as a Rolex collector they'll be TOUGH to get! :-)

I will try but this year it will be a supersonic trip. ;p
