The first one is amazing...
...the blackened hands and markers look great with yellow gold. The marker placement is a bit haphazard. I assume it was done by hand...
Probably, even though the holes for the indices' little "feet"
are visible on the dial's back and have probably been machined... Just an idea, I don't know at all how the markers were placed. Best, Emmanuel
I know they do that so the markers don't fall out...
...but on these older watches they clearly didn't have jigs or anything to provide perfect placement. The holes were probably eye-balled and hand drilled : )
