We need to keep everything in perspective.
My trust on Patek is shaking badly and I had a long telephone conversation with one of their executives tonight. It seems that they follow Watchprosite. These two "Anniversary Nautils" were in my opinion a real flop. However, they are just two models among 200 others. At the same time during the coming months these models represent about 5% of the mechanical watches output and calculated based on value much more. I am sure the explanation lies in these figures.
I hope that these two watches which are in my humble opinion very tasteless, remain single cases and do not represent the new direction. But only time will tell.

In the past the collectors knew what made each piece special
now Patek makes it "fool prove" for the "collector" by writing what is special about this piece in letters on the dial? Lucky it is far out of my reach, this labelled special piece. Best Moritz

Whilst many will be underwhelmed I get the wait for 50. The platinum is a nice piece and well the blue looks good on any Nautilus however I\'m not personally a fan of the "40" text. I find the size reference intriguing and wonder how the Chrono stacks up ...
