I always thought that mint Patek leave Switzerland vacuum packed. Bought my first pre-owned, so never had the chance to break the seal/open the vacuum pack. But I thought it is a granted thing to have when buying new. Isn't it not ? So why is it an Asian ... 

but Europeans are not that crazy about it. There haven´t been (a lot of) plastic packed watches in stock at regular ADs, before the Asians became imortant customers over here ... ;-)

So Pateks that come without plastic vacuum pack in ADs could still be brand new mint ? There was this documentary which I saw on You-Tube. Having every watch vacuum packed is like the last step of their QC chain. That gave me the "mint new pieces must com...
