My pleasure, like in the past it's great to see Patek's site now being updated live at announcement time! Of course, the (rather expected) successor to the 5231J, the new Rare Handcraft 5231G, I'm sure will also be a *huge* blast among collectors! :-)

Very close actually, it's called "Ritmo Cubano" (Ref. 992/162G in G gold ;-) Here are all the other 2022 Rare Handcraft pocket watches, for a total of six (we are probably the first to show them here):

me too ... even though it hurts i guess it is hard to resist to the WT charm ..

I tried multiple times too in the past, but then I came to the conclusion that resistance with Patek is impossible....;-))) Seriously, I very much hope you'll receive one of these allocations, both WTs are frankly quite spectacular! ;-) Cheers.

+1, this 5089G-089 is one of the most stunning for me! I believe they are currently available for viewing to the press and ADs (by appointment), but next week they'll be open to the public. Hope you can be allocated one!👍🥂

Nope, I was not given any of the Rare Handcraft prices yet, but usually the MSRP for these models is in the $90 to $120k range (depending on model, currency, etc.)

That's for sure, everything looks great with BC (and even greater with Loro Piana! ;-)) Alas I can't make it to Geneva this time of year, but I'm BADLY looking forward too to seeing the new models (we'll do via Zoom for now)... Cheers.

What I find interesting with the 5230P is that they opted for a different guilloché, similar to the 5930G, rather than going for the guilloché of the 5230G and R.

+1, agree, there is a clear departure in this sense from the earlier R and G versions👍

Just my guess of course, but trying the make the P a little more special must certainly have been a goal, given that the R and G were not very sought after....This P version does appear to be received much more positively by collectors ;-)

Yes, the guilloché of the R and G were rather " special ". Here we are closer to the 5110.
