While reading the entire thread. I was preparing to say the same exact thing.
I am not sure when but I want to see this pole results once it is discontinued.
It is surprising to me how no one mentioned that 5960 is the first automatic chronograph by PP.
It is a First and I think this will take a big place on PP's history as well.
About the "Bull's Eye" dial
; Some of you find it weird or wrong or not beautiful:
July 2006, I stopped by my AD to chit-chat and see in case something new was up.
After few minutes, once I asked if there was anything new. The manager asked someone to bring something.
The guy came back with a sealed 5960.
The manager literally said to me;
"Take this, don't tell anyone you got it here and you will thank me for the rest of your life"
When I looked at it and I said to myself "is that a PP?"
That day I didn't take the 5960. Six months later I was craving for it.
Finally, I got my 5960P two months ago.
Novelty is not always easy to absorb.
It is like; Bringing A New Tradition Into An Old Village.
Give it time the "new tradition" becomes "tradition".
Just like many other things it might grow on you as long as we are open minded.
Kindly,
