I recently came across the work that he did for Chanel back in 2014 for a project called "L'Instant Chanel* where models mimic the position of a watch's hands. The below shot struck me as a good example and less provocative than some of his other series which I personally love but may not be suitable for all audiences and open environments.

Patrick Demarchelier was one of the top ones, including Herb Ritts, Peter Lindbergh, Mathew Rolston Stephen Meisel, Albert Watson and a few others who were fashion photographers who also moved into music videos and commercials.

Herb left us too soon, they both had such an ability to capture glamour and the beauty of bodies.
