I understand you have been using a Canon Rebel T6 with 18-55mm and 50-250mm... impressive results & DOF with a [max] 400mm at 35mm equivalent Casey .

File info says, lens at 250mm speed at 1,250 F stop at 9 ISO at 800 Also cropped to 45 percent of full frame. Bob

For calculation purposes I put in a distance to subject of 200m... The f/9 gave you great DOF... Great shot Bob... Casey . ...  

This is a real dream shot. It wasn’t just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. It was also a matter of (always) subconsciously being alert for the “photo moments” and Letse not forget, having a camera with you to capture that one moment... 

Have a giant tree on our property and occasionally see 12 or so roosting on it.
