Delays occur for numerous reasons
shipping time from your AD to RM (did your AD ship your RM immediately? Or did they wait a while to ship?), RM waiting for some parts to arrive, etc.
Watch brands don't seem to have a tracking system where you can get updates throughout the repair process. Maybe they can implement sometime like that in the future for better customer service and support.

I share your disappointment. Went through the same with my rm010. I was told by my local AD that Richard Mille is understaffed in servicing dept. the fact that they are in the process of migrating to a new factory doesn't help too. Hang in there mate.

I've had one watch (not RM though) which took 6 months to service and another 5 months (not RM either). That's how long it takes for simple watches to get fixed sometimes. Unfortunately it's something I've already come to accept whenever I bring in a watc...

5 months is a lot of time. at least a few updates along the way would be appreciated, as opposed to a short line saying "by the way, it will take another month!" for what it is worth, an overhaul on a (simple) Patek (Nautilus -- 3800) took a little over 3...
