My opinion

I have a tremendous amount of respect for Richard, and the principles he has established in watchmaking. It is grievously contrary to the very core values of the brand to create and distribute fakes.. and as with all things RM does, this appears to be a somewhat extreme and innovative thought process to quell the nonsense of fakery.

That being said, I am saddened to be missing out on 'real' pictures. I have one AD near me, but they only carry the bare essentials that RM produces meaning the photos here are quite important. I countdown to SIHH each year as many here do and seeing it through the eyes of our moderators and those lucky few who attend is a major highlight!

Chances are, I will end up pursuing an RM piece based on photos and opinions I find here; because of the access you guys have to see these beautiful pieces in person.

I know there are photos and articles out there of the 2014 novelties, but they aren't presented by those who seem to really 'know' the brand such as our Moderators and frequent posters; that is why I come here.

For now though, I will wait and hopefully RM gives the okay for photos to be posted here in some capacity. I especially want to see detailed photos and opinions on the RM035-01 in NTPT, that has some serious potential in my eyes.
