Actually i got 'almost' same explaination for ms.Debby before i post my problem here but silly me to believe more on 'tarnishing theory'.Here is explaination from mr.Debby.....it may be that the oil has dispersed with use and caused these parts to dry. The result is that the un-oiled parts discolour and develop a 'rusty' appearance. This is easily rectified and the parts will be surface treated and re-oiled during its next service.
