The Urwerk stuff is SO MUCH FUN and I've really got a soft spot for Felix. We were both sick during the beginning of SIHH and sipping tea on the mend while discussing technology and design. What a delight it was to talk to Felix; he'd be even more enjoyable if we both weren't sick.
MB&F also makes WONDERFUL stuff. Beautifully made, finished, and refreshing.
And the all the car events I go to (namely Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance) everyone's already wearing Richard Mille timepieces. No shortage of Patek Philippe, Rolex, IWC Portuguese, Hublot, AP, and so on. Time to find something new! Roger Dubuis, MB&F, Urwerk come to mind as excellent pieces that are expressive and yet underrepresented. Simple and elegant pieces from Lange and Vacheron Constantin are surprisingly under-represented.

It's not about telling the boutique where you are staying, it's about letting the concierge - who has the reputation and connections in the city - set you up for success. A great concierge is essential for any top 5 Star hotel in assisting their clientele...
