I was once saying that when Hublot came out with the big bang with screws on the bezel, I too wonder that it copied AP.
As the old adage goes, it some is doing something right, time to follow them but beware of trademark or patent issues.
Perhaps one can say the same for Chanel 'plastiky' J12...perhaps it borrowed the idea from Rolex and others before.
At the end of the day, if the watch speaks to you, get it.
For the record, RM possibly infringed the Cartier Santos Dumont skeleton patent for their skull watch by using bridges of their movement as part of the indexes of the 'dial'. I may be wrong but someone please correct me.
