The history of RD is sad indeed. Based on an understanding gleaned though reading between the lines of the house's publicly-revealed history, the treatment accorded to Roger Dubuis himself by his so-called "partner" seems shameful to me. Richemont's subsequent positioning the house as their answer to Hublot and the like feels like a waste of the brand's heritage. In the meantime, I will always treasure my vintage RD Sympathie S37 in rose gold...
