I saw a vintage Rolex awhile back, it was love at first sight. Since that day, my obsession with it begins. Searching day and night. Finally meeting it recently at one of genevas auction.
I wasnt sure what to expect being my 1st auction. But i guess the piece was meant to be with me. I won the bid

Made in 1949-1952
A triple date calender, one of the most complicated movement for rolex at that time.
1000 pcs made in steel YG and RG. RG being the rarest . In total, Maybe less then 200pcs is left in existance in all metal. LOVE THAT DOME 
Never thought a 60 yr old watch can move my heart. I am so blessed.

The watch has a nice even champange patiina on the dial. The hands has patina too. The case and dome are full of battle scaresss. But overall it is in very good condition. Far from perfect , but who would want a perfect vintage anyway Best Iceman.

I feel really blessed to hv met this gem. The dial has an even patina, thats why it looks pristine. But at certain angles you do see the aging process doing its job. Overall, a very good dial considering the age. This watch belongs to the family of the 1s...
