.....i dont think there is a collector here who has not bought a watch and subsequently seen tastes change and no longer enjoy a watch. I think, for me, the watches that have lasted have been ones that have continually given pleasure each time on the wrist. The 1019 has only been with me for 7 months, so it is early days yet....but the ones that have really lasted always give pleasure....that has been my evolution. I think naturally that my collection has started to be pared....but it is a 2 steps forward 2 steps back process. I add watches every year...but also sell those that do not give pleasure.....i aim, each year, to sell less and less.

You went for black dial too. I deliberated for a long time over dial, but in the end the watch chose me. Judging by your dial, I am guessing our two serial numbers are reasonably close.
Mine is a 2,4 mio. serial.
And I also have the silver dial it originally came with. I just cannot decide whether to go black or silver. Silver is more scientific, black more dynamic. What a choice to make!
