Completely agree with your view, and I wish I will be able to do more or less the same in a near future.

First years in the long road of collecting are usually made with great entusiasm and little knowledge both technicaly and about our own personal tastes. Tastes and pleasure in owning a particular type or brand of watches is discovered as more and more miles are made.

Problem with me is that I am what my friends call a "Black Hole", that is objects enter and never go out. Lol!

This conspires both against budget as well as against the possibility of purifying the collection. I know I have to let go, to sell or to trade, but I have to make my mind and do it. I have to take the plunge! Lol!

I hope I will be able to do it along 2015. Let´s see the results next December!

You went for black dial too. I deliberated for a long time over dial, but in the end the watch chose me. Judging by your dial, I am guessing our two serial numbers are reasonably close.

Mine is a 2,4 mio. serial.

And I also have the silver dial it originally came with. I just cannot decide whether to go black or silver. Silver is more scientific, black more dynamic. What a choice to make!
