Inspired, as I was, by wearing my 6239 when travelling, and just now by Miranda's floater.....isn't it about time for a proper RollCall for Daytonas? Here are my two........

Dear Baron, You have any advice for someone who owns no Daytona? Do I start with the classic 6239? Or go for the more beautiful black bezeled 6263? Or a 6240 which I also like? Or do I jump into the cold water and get a Panda newman daytona (my favorite b... 

Same rules as ever....try them on and go with the one that you like on your wriist. I have had several, but the ones that remain are the ones I like most....for me the 6239 is the first Daytona, but also the version I enjoy most. Try some on...see how it ... 

My Grail. I waited years for this watch in this condition with full matching documentation (original papers and matching service papers), box, etc. I wear it often, but carefully. ...

... with an Argentine connection!! I always view these watches with a past connection with my own Country with much interest! In this case, the watch has been sold by Bucherer of Switzerland, but obviously serviced by the Argentinian Rolex Official Servic... 

I've photoshopped out the S/N from the documents in the picture (all matching), but i'm always amazed at the prices of the things we cherish today at such premiums. the service in 1985 cost the equivalent of under $10 in todays exchange! Thanks for the co...
