Rolex

Yep...6239 is by far the most common vintage Daytona.... but there is something unique about this one....it was the first PN i bought and stays with me now for many years....  

... than this ordinary PN. Funny how some watches gives you a feeling that you don't need anything else.

the number of steel 6239 produced is just a little higher (for what I know less than 10 % ) than 6263 or 6265 ... so for these 3 references the total amount is in the very same range. 20 years ago the market gave a premium to free pushers versions ( in so... 

....so the most common, but not by far. I will settle at that

For some reason we always remember the first in what we do. Out of pure curiosity - how did it rank in your collection as it relates to rolex in general? Was it among the first Rolex you bought aswell? That would increase its uniqueness then aswell. Best ...

IMO the PN is the holy grail of Rolex watches, it has a certain prestige to it. Yours look magnificent on the material strap, do you have more photos of the band?

Ordinarily, any Paul Newman Daytona wouldn't be considered ordinary. But when it comes to Baron, he has so much experience in seeing and handling them, that its become a second nature to him. An extremely fortunate position to be in! Thanks for the beauti...
