I've never considered the Explorer before. Like so many others, I love the Sea-Dweller and Submariner. Having read your article however, I'm reevaluating my feelings. 
The Ref. 1655 is so unique, and has a such a strong viewpoint that it is tough to ignore. I find it very attractive. Thanks for shedding light on a wonderful timepiece.
