Is the fact that this Tudor is one of the highlights of this year’s W&W a statement about the piece itself, or more to do with the lack of truly captivating releases?
While I like the quirkiness of the Monarch, the mix of Roman numerals and line markers at 3 and 9 is confusing. Also, I really wish they had gone with Tudor’s rose logo on the dial here. It would have fit the design so much better.

I find the design interesting,
but I'm curious to see how the dimensions will work (or not) on a wrist like mine: 39 x 11,9 mm in the Tudor way is probably too bulky, but I might be wrong. Chopard's Alpine Eagle measures 41 x 9,7 mm and it's surprisingly wearable even on a smaller wris...

I liked it the moment I saw it a few weeks ago. As you mentioned it is a fresh new design and belongs on the bracelet, I specially like the shape of the center links. If I may be a bit picky I would have liked that the crown could have had a bit the shape...

I was smitten by the first images of it coming out of W&W and have since been visiting ADs here regularly (sometimes several a day) in hopes of seeing it in the metal and possibly snaring one. No luck yet, but reading your thoughts just now has redoubled ...
I think this is a super interesting watch and a great design
I just think a thinner design would make a huge improvement. I am of course saying that without having tried it on the wrist. I also think a solid case back would be more cohesive with this type of watch.
Imagine around 10 mm and a solid back
This would be THE watch release of 2026. Still I have not tried it and it can very well end on my wrist.

Tried it on during W&W, it was a love of first sight. Not only the case, dimensions and wearability on my 6.5, but the papyrus dial color in reality is much nicer than in any photo I’ve seen. It’s still hard for us to digest a5$k+ simple Tudor, I thin...
