Thank you for the effort. I am also one of the “if only it was a few mm bigger “ unfortunately and had one on my wrist to try not long after launch. I agree with everything you say about it and think Tudor did a fantastic job for the vintage lovers. The best job so far by a long way.
I will revisit just to make sure but my first impressions don’t normally change. I can fully understand the attraction of this piece.

I am one of those thinking 37, 38 mm is not enough at least for my wrist. Hence for one it is good, for the other it is not. Although I like the Tudors very much.

The big question though is, will you buy one? Being a dive watch person, having small doxa subs and having been looking for gold hands it is right up my alley yet in person it felt tiny, even more so than the 58.

Special. I was also thinking about the dial finish. A raw black would have been the obvious choice imo, but you have to differentiate a bit to make 58 owners want the 54 as well ;-)

Well, my friend, the " smiley " wording is correct to the 7922 and 7924. After it is a matter of aesthetics preferences, but historically correct.
As for the big crown, I agree. It would have been uber cool to get something even closer to the 7924! ...
