I really like it…

the crown guards are pointed which generally go with gilt dials…but, it does not look like they were ground or shaped, my jeweler whom I trust very much said back in the 60s there were some that got the older case with the matte dial…I have done a bunch of research and there are mid-late 60s that I see that had this crown guard with the matte dial…the case is in really great shape and I find it hard to believe someone beat up just the crown guards such that they were shaped into pointed crown guards. The lume is beautiful, puffy and aging nicely, lugs are nice and full…the pearl has aged similarly to the markers, bracelet is newer but that is not unusual…overall I think it is a nice, honest piece in really nice condition, any opinions would be much appreciated!

I think it matches up perfectly with the picture Bill posted of Steve McQueen’s 5513 a couple of posts down…could it be…😂

said I should really check it out and he just sent it to me, the price was fantastic, and the more I inspect it, I don’t think it was worn much by whomever had it in the past…I am pretty sure it came from the original owner.

That would be hard for me to pass on, just saying. Then again, I’m Super weak and have terrible impulse control.
