I’ve dealt with him/the co. For 25 years ! Very reputable and honest!

but I can say that it looks very cool.

the crown guards are pointed which generally go with gilt dials…but, it does not look like they were ground or shaped, my jeweler whom I trust very much said back in the 60s there were some that got the older case with the matte dial…I have done a bunch o... 

said I should really check it out and he just sent it to me, the price was fantastic, and the more I inspect it, I don’t think it was worn much by whomever had it in the past…I am pretty sure it came from the original owner.

That can help you determine if the dial currently installed is correct for the era. I’d be curious if it was offered to me. Good luck!

it is 818xxx My research shows around early 60s…63/64…a lot of sources say it would be a gilt dial with pointed crown guards… Some say they should be rounded, and if so, crown guards would could be off…vintage is a minefield and mixed information, but, if... 

it is a pretty awesome piece.
