I think the Cellini line
is the most important thing Rolex has produced in a long time! It looks stylish and I think they will get a whole new customer base with this model.
The new Cellini (the old ones being, what can I say, BLEH!) will be competing against all the dress watches of JLC and the likes. Everybody who never bought a Rolex because it is a Rolex (to flashy and too recognizable subsubsubsub) will now have the excuse to do so. Smart move Rolex.
I mean:
- guilloche dial
- 39 mm
- thickness ??? (hopefully not over 11 mm)
- domed case back
The Dual Time even has a day/night indicator (yes a classical Rolex with a moon)
The suit wearing peeps can start lining up I guess? I really wonder how many of these will be sold in a few years.

The Cellini was for a long time something completely different to the rest of the offer. For the first time it is coherent with other models with a more refined/flat profile (remember old veriflat reference). The dials looks awesome on pictures, good job ...
