50 years ago the first Cosmograph was launched and it was dedicated to professional racing drivers. An evolved version with black bezel and screw-down pushers (waterproofness) was introduced in 1965. In 1988 the Cosmograph Daytona got a self-winding and...  

"Will this watch be collectible and a must-have in the long run? Any predictions?" I think daytona fans will opt to buy one or more vintage pieces at the same price range; at least that's true for me. I think it is a handsome watch on your wrist, and I'm ...  

Recently a collector with an incredible collection of fine watches said: "I prefer to make my own vintage" Somehow I agree with him. Also to find an outstanding vintage piece for an appropriate price is almost impossible today and if you find one, are you... 

But as you said, you have to try it before you can make a judgement and that can change a lot. I'm with you with the Rolex challenge. Sometimes I think the 666 will be my first one, and the next day, I think I should go over the top (a bit like this watch...

I suspect most people's first impression when they saw a picture of this one was not positive, but because it is a "special" piece, people are forcing themselves to like it. Well this is how I feel, but in then end, the colours do NOT work, and in this co... 

and is part of the charm. Maybe it is the spice needed to make it even more special. Have you seen it in the metal? "Imagine that one in the summer, on a boat in the south with a nice tan a nice cocktail and a ..." On a Riva ... in the north of Italy ... ... 

Then it will be even more desirable. Tried it last week, liked it but not loving it "YET" :-))

Compared with the officials, which are lacking savour, I find... I may give this one a second look, but the retail is prohibitive. At this level of price, I have other targets to achieve. I totally get your point about the Daytona audience, too. But we sh...

....for sure. When i first saw it on scan, I was very sceptical. Brown and Blue as colours just don't mix well for me. I had the opportunity to try it on at a watch event and found myself enjoying the weight of the watch...it really is heavy. I also enjoy...

seen it and tried it on in metal.. I'm still not convinced with the ice blue and brown color combination But definitely much better looking than it is in the picture I think this is a nice addition to any great Daytona collection Best, Sam
