I'm with you with the Rolex challenge. Sometimes I think the 666 will be my first one, and the next day, I think I should go over the top (a bit like this watch) with a golden yachtmaster with blue dial or a vintage golden Submariner...
For me (don't want to offend anyone) and my lifestyle, these golden Rolexes would be so "wrong" that they perhaps become acceptable
