Very interesting feedback, Echi. The reason why I was in " shock " when I discovered the new GMT MASTER in 2007 is the large lugs.
These large lugs make a big difference not to say contrast between the case and the bracelet. That detail didn't please me, and still causes me some trouble... I think your point may be a tad different if the lugs were much slimmer. It is hard to believe ...

still the Black dial BLRO WG stands far ahead of the new Blue dial - i think the contrast goes well with the Black... but then 6542 is the king - undisputable charm ! Best, mahesh.,
