Where all new GMT of this year have a Triplock Crown, that are "fake" 100 m water resistant only. A Triplock Crown supposed to be 300 m safe, as you mentioned. Why it is like this, is something Rolex will only be able to tell.
This means itβs 300m rated crown? When I compare the case back to my Sub, the caseback of the Sub definitely protrudes an extra 1-2mm further than the GMT.
Even though to the eye ceramic GMT Master ll and Sub C look the same, the thickness of the internal walls of the watch are different. Sub has more metal, more meat on the inside and that's why it can sustain further depth. BLNR has 3 dots as well, meaning...
