That reminds me that I need to take my FF Bathyscaphe swimming and might get the occasion this summer (in admittedly cold water). Any good recommendations for water-based cameras that won't run me too much $$$?

I wear my Explorer to the beach and into the ocean too. It’s more than capable!
Another camera option for you would be a Sony TX series waterproof pocket camera. Smaller than a phone with a Zeiss optical zoom which is better than cropping a small sensor. Close
