Rolex

Manila, 2010 I think it's my first time to post in the Rolex forum. I hang around the Photography forum for the most part but lurk big time outside of it. I just wanted to share my experience with owning this garden variety Exlporer II for more than 5 yea...  

Your photo of the Explorer is quite beautiful. I think white dials pop and are lovely on the wrist. By the way, the white Milgauss is my favorite amongst the three variants! Thanks for sharing, and I hope to see more from you here. Cheers, Daos

It was a great pleasure to read you! All you say about the Explorer II is right. This is not an evident watch, as could be a Submariner or a Daytona, but this is the reason which makes me love it a lot. I would love less the White Milgauss, which doesn't ... 

for usually unfounded reasons. I appreciate the welcome! I tried on the white Milgauss yesterday. I think it needs a few more visits before actual "serious" consideration. I do agree that the GV(?) is the one to get but I am currently partial to white dia...

It's orange. I mess up the setting and "burned" it. I will do shot in the future. Your E2 will look fantastic in a white stripes nato I presume. Then again it may look loud Lets us know which model you decide on. I'm sure it will be awesome. Best Tyler

Ah, the Daytona. I am wishing that they would somehow limit the markings on the dial and the polished surfaces on that one. Definitely a superb watch although my main preference has been for tricompax(?) layouts like the moonwatch or dual registers like t... 

...there are a couple of guys here in Denmark where they have sandblasted the surface especially on the bracelet to make it look more matte... Nice.. I haven't done it, as I am a original guy (maybe due to my vintage..). I only like watches that are origi...
