From an aesthetic point of view, I think that this combo simply works beautifully. And I was really surprised to discover how versatile it is, much more than blue (in my humble opinion).

I wouldn't necessarily say that the olive green is refreshing. Although it looks lighter on the picture due to the lighting conditions, it normally looks darker must of the time. Together with the warmer color of the white gold, I actually wear it mainly in Winter.

The DD is a classic and also great in other metals. My other two favorites are platinum with ice-blue dial (ideally diamond markers) and yellow gold with silver dial and yellow roman numerals. The platinum one does look super refreshing to me, much more summer oriented. I week l was actually very tempted to go for it to complement my olive.

But in the end, it's all I guess about personal preference 😋
